Whole wheat pasta makes this baked spaghetti recipe healthy. Smoked mozzarella cheese makes it taste like an authentic Italian pasta recipe.
If you can't find smoked mozzarella cheese in your supermarket, or it's too expensive, simply use regular mozzarella. The smoked mozzarella just gives the baked spaghetti a tangy, salty flavor that's pleasing to both kids and adults alike. If you have homemade spaghetti sauce on hand, use that. If not, choose your favorite jarred spaghetti sauce. This spaghetti goes well with broccoli with garlic or fresh green beans. Baked Spaghetti a la Pizza
