Preheat oven to 325 degrees. If using fresh green beans, wash and trim them. Steam green beans, covered, five minutes, or until crisp-tender. Drain. Heat oil over low heat in a large skillet. Add garlic and saute a few minutes. Add green beans, tomatoes, and seasonings, tossing until beans are well-coated with olive oil and seasonings. Transfer to a 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle Parmesan on top. Bake 15 minutes. Serves 8.
