This frighteningly delightful Halloween dinner recipe is a snap to make. It only has four ingredients. That means you can have it on the table in no time, leaving more time for the important Halloween stuff, like trick or treating!
You can use any kind of tortillas you like for these bat tortilla pizzas. Sun-dried tomato tortillas add a little extra Halloween color to the recipe. Spinach tortillas add a monstrously scary dimension to these tortilla pizzas. Play around, experiment, get creative.
And of course, you can experiment with the cheeses, too. Provolone would be a nice alternative to the cheddar. And asiago would make a nice change from the mozzarella. Just be sure to use cheese slices for the bats. That is really the only way to get the bat shapes to turn out right.
The other thing that is nice about these bat tortilla pizzas is that the kids can actually make them with you. It is a great way to occupy them before it's time to go trick or treating. Let them cut out assemble the pizzas and cut out the bats. All you have to be there for is getting the pizzas into and out of the oven (and the clean up, of course).

Note: If you are using two cookie sheets, rotate them halfway through cooking, so that the pizzas can cook evenly.
