Sally Lunn Bread Machine Bread

A tender bread machine recipe with whole grain goodness.

Traditional Sally Lunn bread has a coffee cake-like texture. I've updated the classic to make it a bit healthier. It's one of my favorite bread machine recipies.

Like my whole wheat bread recipe, this recipe uses white whole wheat flour to produce a more tender loaf. It's one of the simplest bread machine recipes I have, taking just ten minutes to put together.

Serve this bread with a big bowl of chicken noodle soup

Sally Lunn Bread Machine Bread

Put ingredients in bread machine in order suggested by manufacturer. Program for white bread cycle, light setting.

Makes 16 slices.

Per slice: 135 calories, 4 g fat, 47 mg cholesterol, 20 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 4 g protein
