Healthy snack recipes for kids don't have to be bland or boring. These waffle cone sundaes made with yogurt and fruit are a real treat.

Looking for healthy snack recipes? Want to serve the kids something better than chips and cookies after school? You will never believe how healthy these delicious yogurt sundaes are. In fact, they're likely to become one of those healthy snacks the kids will end up begging you to make again and again.

Even better: these sundaes offer a full serving of fruit and a nice dose of vitamin C, fiber, protein and calcium in every portion.

Feel free to play around with different toppings for these yogurt sundaes. Raspberries, blueberries and white chocolate chips make a great topping combination for a Fourth of July themed party.

Unsweetened shredded coconut, raspberries and chocolate sauce make a decadent sundae that will remind you of red velvet cake. Substitute chocolate pudding for the vanilla yogurt and the kids will really go wild.

Or make outrageous "Elvis Special" sundaes with plain yogurt, peanut butter chips, bananas and a light drizzle of honey.

Or just have a topping bar, like an ice cream bar, where you dish out the yogurt, then let everybody choose what to put on it. You can make a quick and easy strawberry sauce by stirring one tablespoon of powdered sugar into two cups of thawed unsweetened frozen strawberries and heating it in a heavy sauce pan until the mixture boils and thickens.

Graham cracker crumbs, chocolate cookie crumbs, walnuts and chocolate sauce are also great topping ideas that are sure to be favorites with the kids. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination.
