My friend is allergic to peanuts. Do you have a substiture for the peanut sauce in your chicken satay recipe.

The peanut sauce is really what gives it that traditional Thai taste. But you can certainly use soy nut butter or even almond butter in place of peanut butter. Many people who are allergic to peanuts are not allergic to tree nuts. So you just need to check.

I tried a product called "pea butter" once - it is nut-free but looks and (sort of) tastes like peanut butter. I'm not sure how well it spreads or cooks though.
